Well Done!!! Well Done!!!

Each Day We Awake is one more day that God has Blessed us with. With this gift we must honor and serve him. Following his duty and his will for our lives. Knowing that at the end of the day our Lord is able to say well done thy good and faithful servant. Well Done!!!!

A Reason, A Season, A Lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.!

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

"If Jesus Came"

Would you have to change your clothes before you let Him in?
Or hide some magazines and put the Bible where they'd been?
Would you hide your worldly music and put some hymn books out?
Could you let Jesus walk right in or would you rush about?

And I wonder... if the Savior spent a day or two with you
Would you go right on doing the things you always do?
Would you go right on saying the things you always say?
Would life for you continue as it does from day to day?

Would you take Jesus with you everywhere you go?
Or would you maybe change your plans for just a day or so?
Would you be glad to have Him meet your closest friends?
Or would you hope they stay away until His visit ends?

Would you be glad to have Him stay forever on and on?
Or would you sign with great relief when He at last was gone?
It might be interesting to know the things that you would do
If Jesus came in person to spend some time with you.

Stand Still and Listen

One of the singers at Fellowship Church in Dallas posted this on my Myspace. I thought it was very thought provoking so I decided to post it on my blog.

"The choices we make today determine our tomorrows...Fight for the things you want out of life...and when it comes to people don't waste your time fighting for someone who won't do the same for you...there is a time to pray, standing still is good ... but then theres a time to listen to the answer to those prayers and actually do something."

Our Life and Faith

Just one week ago magician David Blaine performed a stunt in New York City. He put himself in to a bowl of water for a whole week with a final stunt of holding his breath for nine minutes. I watched the program on tv and afterward thought how our life is truly incredible. God created each of us in our own ways but one essential thing we all need is air. We breath each breath daily without even thinking about it but this invisible thing that we take for granted gives us life. If we would only take a moment each day and think of all the things God has given us that in our daily life we either don't think about or that we just take for granted. Our life is truly the most amazing thing that God created and we should thank him daily for all that he has given us.

Also if there are any thought provoking stories or quotes I found i will post them. I hope the thoughts that God has laid upon my heart can touch your life in some way.
